About Unique Cargo Express
We ship vehicles, containers and boxes from Germany to Cameroon. Our depot is in Duisburg, in North Rhine-Westphalia; your goods are collected in Douala.
A forwarder between Duisburg and Douala
Unique Cargo Express is a freight forwarding company based in Duisburg. Our work comes down to one sentence: we take charge of your cargo in Germany, ship it by sea to Douala, and hand it over once it has cleared customs.
We work with private customers sending a car or a few boxes, and with traders importing furniture, appliances or goods for resale on a regular basis. The principle is the same in both cases: a price agreed before departure, an identified container, and a collection organised on arrival.
Our depot is at Vohwinkelstr. 23 in Duisburg. That is where your goods are received, checked, packed and loaded. It is also where the containers we ship to Douala and Yaoundé several times a month begin their journey.
What we ship
Full container
A house move, a stock of goods or several vehicles: you book a 20 or 40 ft container, we handle loading at the depot and transport to the port.
Sea groupage
Only a few boxes, or a single living-room set? You share the container with other customers and pay only for the volume you use, measured in cubic metres. The minimum chargeable volume is 1 m³.
Vehicles
Saloon, 4×4 or van: the vehicle is loaded into a container at the depot, with proper lashing. You can add personal effects, provided you give us a valued inventory.
Drop-off and collection
You can drop your boxes at our Duisburg depot, at one of our drop-off points across North Rhine-Westphalia, or ask us for a home collection. On arrival, goods are collected in Douala. Each service is described in detail on its own page.
How we work
One contact from quote to collection
You deal with the same team in Duisburg, in English, French or German. The person who quotes your shipment follows your container through to collection.
A depot you can visit
Your goods do not disappear through an anonymous intermediary: they are received at Vohwinkelstr. 23, where you can bring them yourself during opening hours.
Prices you can read
Our rate card is published. Customs duties are included in our parcel rates, with the exception of vehicles. Your quote states the rate that applies to your shipment.
Tracking to Douala
We give you a container reference at departure. It lets you follow the shipment online, then prepare for collection in Douala. The full rate card is published.

No transit time announced lightly.
A crossing depends on the departure, the vessel and the port. We tell you the confirmed departure; after that, you follow the container online.
What we do not promise
We do not give an arrival date to the day: sea transport depends on factors a forwarder does not control. Nor do we advertise an all-in price for vehicles, whose customs clearance is calculated separately, according to the vehicle and its declared value.
What we do promise is clarity: what is included in the price, what is not, and when each step happens.
